Location

Pulau Banding is located within the Belum-Temengor rainforest, which is situated midway between the east and west coasts of Peninsular Malaysia. The nearest towns to Belum are Gerik in Perak and Jeli in Kelantan, which is connected by the East-West Highway. GPS Coordinate: N 5 32.595     E 101 20.454

By Car

Driving to Pulau Banding from Kuala Lumpur takes between four to five hours. From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Highway and head north towards Ipoh. Take the Kuala Kangsar exit and head towards Gerik, bypassing the town of Lenggong. Heading onwards to Jeli, Kelantan, this highway will take you straight to Pulau Banding.

By Bus

There are currently three coach companies that operate more than 3 trips daily from either Hentian Duta or Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) in Kuala Lumpur to Gerik town. Please check their schedules on easybook.com. A private transfer to the resort can be arranged upon advance request.

By Train

The closest train station via ETS (Electric Train Service) is in Kuala Kangsar town, about a 1.5hr drive from the resort. For schedule and rates, click here.
